#TakeUpSpace
Each year, the monarchs of the Crown Magnolia Court of Georgia choose a campaign statement that aligns with the court mission. For Reign IV (Nov. 2024 - Nov. 2025), are launching the Take Up Space campaign, which focuses on empowering LGBTQ+ individuals to advocate for themselves politically and socially. Our Emperor and Empress believe that everyone should live like first-class citizens because we all deserve to be here. As such, this year will be filled with community events, efforts, and fundraisers centered around celebrating, uplifting, and advancing the LGBTQ+ community in Georgia.
We’ve partnered with several organizations to facilitate voter registration drives, community galas, and community service initiatives. This year, we’ll continue battling issues such as the increase in trans violence, anti-LGBTQ legislation, and mental illness. Help us create a safe space for fellow Georgians by supporting our events and signing up to receive our newsletter.
Need help?
As part of our mission empower LGBTQ+ individuals to advocate for themselves and enjoy their lives unapologetically, the CMCGA has curated a roster of resources to help LGBTQ+ individuals find the mental and physical healthcare that they need. If you identify as LGBTQ+ and are struggling to find or afford the healthcare you need, reach out to us. We want to help.
“Taking up space is acknowledging there is a space in the world that only you can fill.”
