Welcome to Crown Magnolia
Founded in 2020. An LGBTQIA+ oriented advocacy group and 501c3 non-profit charity that focuses on fundraising and providing resources for the local LGBTQIA+ community, as well as providing capacity for like organizations.
The Crown Magnolia Court of Georgia works to educate and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ and Georgia’s allied community by eliminating the historical oppression and phobia of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queen, intersexed and asexual individuals in the South, especially in the greater metro Atlanta and CSRA region.
Our Nonprofit
The CMCGA is a 501c3 nonprofit founded in September 2020 by Dr. Soren Estvold and Calvin Williamson. There is a board of directors that meet once a month to steer the nonprofit. We are a chapter of the much larger International Court System. The ICS, with over 70 chapters, has a long history of activism and fundraising to help causes in the LGBTQIA+ community. The Crown Magnolia Court of Georgia is the first and only drag court in Georgia.
